love for all!!
So we meet again today at a very important day. I know you
people are probably busy giving the final touches to your preparations. I won’t
take much of your time because I know how important this day is to all of you
appearing as an entrance aspirant tomorrow. I am writing this to offer you some
advices and blessings that might help you when you appear for the examinations.
It has been a long that since we last met and I had been longing to say this. I
could not wish each and every one of you in person so I am taking my blog as a
medium to dissipate my wishes.
Tomorrow is a big day. What happens tomorrow may be the
indication of what may come forth in the future, tomorrow may show what lies
ahead in the store for you. Every single drop of sweat you dripped, each pint
of blood you boiled in your veins will have a consequence tomorrow. You will
become what you have desired, what you have aspired. Many of you might have
waited this day for so long to put everything in line for a career you prefer,
for a dream you once saw in those sleepless nights. You will not be giving just
an exam, you will be giving meaning to your life. The future may be yours but
the dreams are not just yours. You are the ray of hope for those people who
have seen their life through your eyes; of course I am talking about your
parents. You are not just taking exams but you are going to prove those hungry
stomachs were worth, those sleepless nights were worth, the dark circles beneath
your eyes are worth. You will prove everything you sacrificed for a better
career was a worthy sacrifice.
The first thing you need to know before exams is to stay
calm. Do not panic. I repeat; do not panic. Don’t care how many are you
competing with, don’t care whether there are hundreds or thousands taking examinations with you, what you have got to
believe is you are the one who will come ahead of everyone because there is
nobody better than you. So believe you can make it because you are worthy. You will
make it because you have dreamt of it. Believe you can make it because it
decides what your future will be. Believe anything and you shall achieve
anything.
When you wake up tomorrow, freshen up your mind like it is
your regular day. Look at the most important and most confusing things. Take everything
you want at the exam hall ( pencils, erasers, pen etc). Eat something and drink
water, evacuate your bladder before you enter the exam hall. Go inside you no
stress and pain. There are some mistakes which students make much often:
1)
I couldn’t manage my time.
2)
I read the options wrong.
3)
I left some questions.
4)
I didn’t read the full question so made a
mistake.
5)
I knew the answer to the question but made a
silly mistake.
Time managing is the most important thing in the
examination. You will have maximum of 2 minutes to solve each question. So if
you don’t know the answer to the question, skip and move to the next. Don’t let
one question to kill your time. Mark the questions which you have not solved
with a pencil so that you can get back to them after you have solved the known
questions. Start from those subjects that you feel easiest and move to harder
and hardest at last. Read the full question and full options, just don’t hurry
up to make your final answer as there can be two answers for a single question like
( all of the above and both b and c). if you think you can manage time , use
pencils to marks your answers initially as you can re-correct them if you find a mistake.
If you are confused between two answers for a question, go for
the option which you thought was right at the first instant. I have seen many
students who said “maile paila yo socheko the but paxi yo lagaye ani bigriyo.”
If you don’t know the answer, go with
the intuition, the sixth sense is never wrong. At last but not the least,
please don’t leave any questions unattempted. You will not have negative
marking so a wrong answer will not make much of a difference. Even if you don’t
have time make some random marking of the options but attempt all the 100 questions
because your 1 lucky guess can seal your place in the list.
After the exams, chill!! Kathmandu is a fun place to visit. Go
to some random places . Take some selfies, change your facebook profile picture
or become a model in your instagram. Just don’t get too sad because you did not
do as expected or don’t get overhyped because your exam went well. Just chill. Everyone
will have their time, their moment to rise and shine. The exam is not the end
of the world, it is the beginning of a new one.
I hope everyone of you who is reading this crack the
examination . unfortunately if you do not make it, you have got to realize you
need to work much harder, have much faith in your attempts. Come back stronger,
come back harder ( dhilo aaye pani kada aune). We have already discussed about
how failing is important. YOU DO NOT FAIL WHEN YOU FALL, YOU FAIL WHEN YOU
REFUSE TO GET UP. Don’t give up, never ever. Because you know you are stronger
than you think.
Best wishes for your examination, I love you all. God bless
!! Adieu
